Easy Homemade Moisturizer for Healthy Skin

We all know that using a moisturizer especially in your facial is vital for healthy, glowing, and younger looking skin. Store bought moisturizer is good to use, especially those made with all-natural ingredients and organic ones. One of the best face moisturizer today is the oil-free moisturizer from punch skin care but if you are too conscious about the product ingredients, you can also go for homemade ones. A homemade moisturizer is inexpensive and much safer to use if you have an extremely sensitive skin.

Give your skin a hearty dose of hydration with these simple and easy to make homemade moisturizer:

Lavender and Coconut Oil Moisturizer

  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vitamin E
  • 12 drops lavender essential oil

Direction:

  • Simply melt the coconut and mix it with vitamin E and lavender oil. Let it set.

Aloe Vera and Almond Oil Moisturizer

  • 4 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vitamin E
  • 2 tablespoon almond oil

Direction:

  • Simply mix the aloe vera gel, almond oil, and liquid vitamin E in a bowl.
  • Melt the coconut oil and add it to the mixture. Let it set.

Frankincense, Lavender, and Coconut Oil Moisturizer

  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoon almond oil
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa butter
  • 5 drops frankincense essential oil
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil

Direction:

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl using a hand mixer.
  • Whip on high for 4 minutes or until light and fluffy.
  • Transfer the mixture on a tight fitting lid.
  • Store it in a refrigerator to prevent melting.

 Avocado and Honey Moisturizer

  • 3 tablespoon fresh cream
  • ¼ avocado
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Direction:

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender and puree into a smooth cream.
  • Apply it to your face and leave for at least an hour.
  • Rinse off with warm water.
  • You can also use this moisturizer on your hands, arms, and legs.

Yoghurt and Citrus Fruit Moisturizer

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice

Direction:

  • Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
  • Apply on your face and leave it for at least 15 minutes.
  • Rinse off with warm water.

Note: This recipe is apt for normal skin.

  • Vitamin E is an oil-soluble nutrient and is hence heavier than water-soluble products. It works best for dry and damaged skin since it restores the lost moisture. It thwarts all chances of the skin becoming dull, saggy, and wrinkled.
  • Raw honey is very good for the skin. It has antibacterial properties that are great for treatment and prevention of acne and full of antioxidants that are great for slowing down aging.
  • Frankincense essential oil is a powerful astringent that helps protect the skin cells. It can be used to help reduce acne blemishes, prevent wrinkles, and lift and tighten skin to naturally slow signs of aging.
